8 Day Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari

The safari will take to the Volcanoes National Park where you will experience mountain gorilla trekking and the golden monkeys.

After visit Uganda and you will first have an amazing relax at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, after visit Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park for the second unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking in the mist and thereafter visit the Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have to search for the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha southern sector of the park and then transfer to the Mweya peninsula where you will experience another game drive at the Kasenyi mating ground and then the unforgettable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel with the amazing view of the wildlife and bird life species at the shores of the Channel!

Day 1: Arrival at Kanombe airport

Upon your arrival, meet the guide and transferring to Kigali City. Drive the three hours North of Kigali to Kinigi through Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known. Dinner and Overnight at Virunga Safari Lodge. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Parc National des Volcanoes

Transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters to track gorillas in Parc National des Volcans. Gorilla tracking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, arduous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. But coming face to face with the great primates is well worth the effort. Dinner and Overnight as above. Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Parc National des Volcans

Track the golden monkeys in the forest, enjoy them playing around the trees. These are unique primates and endangered.so looking at them will be a life time experience. After embark the safari jeep and transfer to Uganda via Cyanika border visiting Lake Bunyonyi the deepest Crater Lake in Uganda and you will have an amazing view of the dotted islands while at your lodge of residence. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Gorilla Park

After your breakfast and an amazing boat cruise along the Crater Lake visiting some of the beautiful dotted islands and communities staying on these islands. Lunch at the lodge, after transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park where you will take the second discounted gorilla trekking experience. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day 5: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest

Early in the morning, head to the park headquarter for briefing by the park rangers, after being assigned the gorilla group, enter the forest in search of the great apes. Tracking takes about 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After finding them, you are allowed to spend 1 hour with them. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast, and after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector with the spot of the African tree climbing lions and other wildlife species like the topi, elephants, oribi, warthogs among others and after transfer to the Mweya peninsula for dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day7: Game Drive & Boat Ride along Kazinga Channel

Dawn game drive looking for the early riser and nocturnal animals like the lions, search for more wildlife like the leopards, elephants, buffaloes, water and bush backs, antelopes and warthogs among others. The experience takes 3-4 hours and after return to lodge for lunch, then in the afternoon takes the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects the Ramsar Lake George to Lake Edward and on this cruise expect to spot wildlife and bird life species along the shores of the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day8: Drive Back to Kigali or Entebbe

In the morning, the guide will drive you back to Kigali or Entebbe international airport for you flight back home. End of service
