5 Day Gorillas, Dian Fossey & Golden Monkeys

The 5 Days Rwanda Safari takes you the Volcanoes and you will encounter the Rwanda gorilla trek, hike the Dian Fossey in the mist and golden monkey tracking.

After transfer to the Lake Kivu where you will experience the Rwanda safari holiday and vacations along the shores of the Lake, beach holiday in Rwanda.

Day1: Kigali-Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and proceed to Ruhengeri expect great view of the cascading scenery of Rwanda it’s the Drive through beautiful mountains until you get to the home of the gorillas Kinigi in the Musanze region. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/Lapalme Hotel (Mid-Range Hotel)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Tour

Have a lovely breakfast in the morning and proceed to the headquarters for briefing about the gorillas and meeting the park rangers. The experience is exhilarating as you get ready to hike through the jungle in search for the gorillas you will see them in groups as they do their daily routine work, mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and some resting you will be required to switch off your flash as you take pictures. Trekking the gorillas takes about 1 to 4 hours to find them. After trekking the gorillas, return to your lodge for relaxation and for dinner and overnight as above. If we have more time visit the Rwanda cultural sites like the Ibyi’wacu cultural center. Meal plan: F/B

Day3: Dian Fossey Center

After breakfast prepare as yesterday and then trek to the Dian Fossey grave and experience the conservation work that she geared to save the mountain gorillas in the mist and after being filled with this experience return to the lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day4: Golden Monkey Tracking-Lake Kivu

Have breakfast early morning and proceed for golden monkey tracking, this is another existing activity Prior to meeting the golden monkeys; you will see other primates, fauna and flora. Finally get face to face with the beautiful golden monkeys. You will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to the other all this will be fun and memorable for your African adventure tour. Then transfer to Lake Kivu and relax at the shores of the Lake and dinner and overnight stay at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel/Hotel Gorilla Gisenyi/Paradise Guest House. Meal plan: F/B

Day5: Lake Kivu-Transfer back to Kigali

Have breakfast, and after take the afternoon boat cruise along the Lake Kivu visiting the fishing villages with the unforgettable view of mount Nyiragongo. Lunch, after drive back to Kigali with en-route visit to some craft shops for souvenirs and then proceed to the airport for your departure flight and say bye.
